Thank you for considering Prairie Bay Catering for your upcoming event. We specialize in customizing our menu to fit your needs. Whether you are looking for box lunches, deli platters, multi course wine dinners, or a customized reception we have the professional and flexible staff to assist you.
Our menu is locally written and produced and changes frequently based on availability, seasonality and inspiration. Prairie Bay is not a chain, but we are a locally based, one of a kind restaurant dedicated to providing the greatest distinctive dining experience in the lakes area. Stocks, soups, sauces..All are from scratch. We increasingly rely on local organic producers and diligently source the freshest product possible. We are happy to alter menu items or create dishes for you, whenever possible, to better serve you.
Our staff is led by Chef Matt Annand who grew up in the Brainerd Lakes Area, working for local restaurateur Iven Hudalla at a local landmark restaurant over a period of 17 years. Eventually, Matt’s passion led him to study at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York where he graduated with honors in 1997. He has worked at such culinary institutions as the Scottsdale Princess Resort and as Sous Chef at the prestigious Auberge du Soleil in Napa Valley. Matt has brought together an amazing crew featuring 5 Culinary Graduates.
